The Challenge.

How do you empower young individuals with learning difficulties to engage actively in the Duke of Edinburgh challenge? Essex Council wanted to spotlight the achievements and narratives of past participants with learning difficulties, serving as an inspirational platform for future participation.

The Solution.

I worked closely with both the organisers and the participants of the challenge to dive deep into the unique moments that made the experience so memorable.  I curated, wrote and illustrated a comic book to intricately showcase the diverse experiences and triumphs of young individuals with learning difficulties who have undertaken the Duke of Edinburgh challenge.
